Kati Patang is a 1970 Indian Hindi movie produced and directed by Shakti Samanta. It became a box office success.[1] It stars Asha Parekh as a woman pretending to be a widow, and her ensuing trials and tribulations. The film is based on a published story by Cornell Woolrich titled I Married a Dead Man and had been filmed before as No Man of Her Own (1950) starring Barbara Stanwyck. It would be remade by Hollywood again as Mrs. Winterbourne (1996).[2]
The movie also features Rajesh Khanna, Nasir Husain, Bindu and Prem Chopra.
